Caillou – In My House
Caillou's daily life is presented in different scenes in this illustrated dictionary. In this first book in a series, children will discover Caillou immediate universe.
In My House illustrates the different rooms inside Caillou's house, always depicting various activities from within. On one side, children find a large illustration showing a familiar situation in a specific room. Surrounding it are clearly identified elements taken from the scene. For example, in the kitchen there is a scene where everyone is sitting down to a meal and surrounding the scene, we find elements taken from it as a stove, a refrigerator, a table, a chair, etc.
Children will have fun looking at the scenes, naming the objects on the page and finding them within the main scene. The full-color realistic illustrations help children easily recognize and identify the objects and begin to use these words to identify similar objects in their world around them.
The next book will explore the world outside Caillou's house; the garden, the street, the beach, the mountains, the store, etc.
